I grew up in the North East and aged eighteen packed my bags and headed for university at the other end of the country in Winchester. I graduated in 1995 and started work in the banking industry and held several senior financial planning roles. In April 2007, I took the decision to start up my own business, with the help of St. James's Place and the rest, as they say, is history.
As well as being a Chartered Financial Planner, I’m a Fellow of the Personal Finance Society. Over the last 25 years, I’ve worked through significant periods of volatility in the financial markets, as well as seeing an increasingly high focus on regulation. I have worked with so many different clients over the years which has given me a real depth of knowledge.
I have a firm belief that it is up to each and every one of us to support our local communities and causes, and have always wanted to make sure that Anderson Financial Management’s success benefits not just its staff but also causes that are important to us. I am energised by the entrepreneurial spirit of the South West and love working alongside entrepreneurs to develop new and growing businesses.
In 2005, Jess and I got married and our three children now keep us on our toes. I’m heavily involved with my local rugby club, Old Bristolians, I love holidays, sport and developing my appreciation of fine wine.
